Christmas Day started with cloud and light snow,so decided to walk to La Rosiere through the forest for almond croissants and phone calls home even get to wave to Santa in a horse drawn carriage !!!! Then back to the apartment for lunch by which time the wind had picked up to 70 kph !!!and the snow is blowing off the mountain.
Have an interesting afternoon being blown all over the resort.I manage to lose the others and end up wiping out a few times on the ice !!! The sun comes out and I end up out of the wind on the lower Fontaina run in the trees ,even though the lift out is very slow.
I then fall off the same button Rob did his knee at Easter,I then had one last run down the Roches Noires as the sun sets with the snow blowing down the piste – very pretty.I video the last run and manage to stay on the skiis.
Then back for Christmas dinner – a great day.
